Description Gendai Gashu - Present-day Collection of Pictures One of two volumes, published in 1911. A combination of lithographs, collotypes (the Goyô shown is a collotype!), woodblock prints and photographs (both b/w and colour). At least 6 woodblock prints (incl. one fold-out sheet showing Benkei), 15 lithographs (also printed on coloured pages) and 7 photographs, mainly of paintings. This volume gives an excellent impression of the artistic taste at the time of publication.

Condition Good overall condition for a publication from this period some foxing on the lithographs, but the most important print, the Goyô collotype, in very good condition.
