Description Sakikôgai (先笄) - Sakko hairstyle Paper size: 44.8 x 52.5 cm. In its original titled presentation folder. Printed and published by Takamizawa in 1979. Number 109/300. Artist’s signature and edition number on a separate piece of paper verso (see Detail 1). The hairstyle shown is worn by maiko at the end of their apprenticeship, just before officially becoming a geisha.
