Illustrated Japanese edition of Alexander S. Pushkin's short story The Undertaker, published in 1934. Book size: 22.5 x 30.8 cm. The softcover book is composed of lithographs with the cover being a half-tone plate. The book is complete with 24 pages (including cover), with 17 of the pages containing images. The book is illustrated in every major Sosaku Hanga reference work including Chiba IV, pl. 232-1 & 232-2 as well as the Varvara Bubnova book asplates 114-119 & the back cover.
Condition
Very good overall condition some minorwear and light toning on the cover.
