Description The story of the priest Nittô of the temple Emmei-in: Ushinosuke (son of Kabuki actor Onoe Kikugorô I) was forced to flee Edo because his sexual exploits had resulted in a murder. He entered Emmei-in, where he became abbot. However he continued his affairs with women, and he was ultimately put to death. We see him here with the servant Okoro.
