Description
Makura-bashi (まくら橋) - Makura bridge Paper size: 9.5 x 11.5 cm. Self-printed in 1934. An extremely rare (small) work by the artist, who was born in the same year as Ono Tadashige, and whom the latter considered his master. He was never seen again after 1935. There is a copy of this print in the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, and in a few other major museums in Japan.
