Description Tôchûkasô (冬蟲夏草) - Ophiocordiceps sinensis (winter grass)Paper size: 19.8 x 26.5 cm, printed in October 1914. What the title refers to is a bit obscure: this fungus/parasite has been used as a herbal remedy for thousands of years. One of the very few prints made by Tanaka Kiyokichi during his short artistic career. Published in Vol. III of Tsukuhae.

Condition Fine impression, very good condition: very light toning of the edges.
