Melancholy (失題), paper size: 19.5 x 26 cm, self-printed in 1914. From the magazine Tsukubae, a joint effort of Onchi Kôshirô, Fujimori Shizuo and Tanaka Kiyokichi. See Helen Merritt's Modern Japanese Woodblock Prints, the Early Years, pp. 179-185, in which she points (a.o.) at the influences of both William Blake and Edvard Munch on this design, which is on the cover of the Japanese catalogue raisonné of his work.
