About us

Saru Gallery was founded in 1999 by Eric van den Ing in the Nederlands as an internet gallery focused on 20th century Japanese prints and paintings.

In 2025, Eric retired and Serge Astieres took over the gallery, relocating to his native France, keeping the same philosophy of providing excellent advice and offering prints for the discerning collector.

We also work on consignment basis, so if you have prints to sell, please do contact us and we would be happy to assist.
