Description
Lying nude Paper size: 39 x 32.8 cm. Printed in 1923 (date "Taisho 12" carved in the block). This print is related to an almost identical oil painting in the Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art in Fukuoka prefecture, also dated 1923. I do not know if the print preceded the painting or vice versa. There also exists a smaller, undated version of this print.
Condition
Very good impression, good condition: there is some toning, mainly on the back of the print, probably the result of an acid folder (see detail1).
