Description Haiyû (俳優) - Actor Paper size: 38.8 x 60 cm. Self-carved and self-printed in 1953. Title and signature in pencil in the bottom margin. One of the icons of the postwar Sôsaku Hanga movement, this print was illustrated in colour in Oliver Statler's Modern Japanese Prints, an Art Reborn, and in many other reference works.

Condition Fine impression and colours, very good condition: a few faint printer's creases.
