Description Onore no hatsuharu (己の初春) - My early spring Paper size: 17.1 x 25.6 cm. Designed for the January 1905 issue of Myōjō (明星) - Morning star. Blocks carved by Igami Bonkotsu (1875-1933), the leading blockcarver of the age (and Hiratsuka Un'ichi's teacher).

Condition Fine impression and colours, very good condition (a small nick in the right edge) the girl's shawl printed in silver. On the cover of 中澤弘光研究 - Nakazawa Hiromitsu Kenkyū, Mitsunobu Satō et al., published by Mitsui Kōkei, Tokyo, 2006, & p.6.
