Description Kurokami (黒髪) - Black hair Paper size: 30.5 x 52.2 cm. Dated Showa rokunen ni gatsu (Showa 6 [1931], 2nd month), "Kiyoshi" with artist's seal "Kobayakawa", in the bottom margin the full title: Kindaijisesho no uchi go Kurokami (Styles of Contemporary Make-up: no. 5, Glossy Black Hair) bottom left the empty limited edition (100) box. A very rare version of this seldom seen print, lacking the blue background: I have found only one other (numbered) impression of this variant state. Full mica background (see Detail 1), careful shading of the flesh tones, the lines of the body enhanced by blindprinting.

Condition Fine impression and colours, very good condition: verso completely clean (see Detail 2), some surface soil on the bottom margin.
