Description Bijin gasen shû (美人畫選集) - Collection of selected beauties, published by Taguchi Kyojirô in 1919. Complete set of of four woodblock prints and four "reproductions". Each attached to sheets of black paper (24.5 x 32.3 cm.) with small labels giving the titles verso. The woodblock prints (top row) vary in size (ca. 20 x 27 cm.). The eight sheets are in their original folder giving all particulars.

Condition Fine impressions, colours and condition: the woodblock prints are in exceptionally fine condition (see detail 1 and detail 2), the other four (though less interesting) are in fine shape as well. The folder shows some signs of wear, and some stains on the outside, but is complete. Rare in this complete state!
