Description Yabakei Rakan-ji (耶馬溪羅漢寺) - Rakanji temple in the Rain Paper size: 32.8 x 38.5 cm. Number 26 from an edition of 50, self-printed in 1935. Two red artist's seals, title top left margin. Mostly known as "Rakan-ji (temple) in the rain", the Japanese title is on the print, though in the accompanying sheet (see detail 1) the character for "rain", ame, is also used in the title (the right row of characters). One of Hiratsuka's best pre-war prints.
