Description
Nishikigi, No. XXXXVIII from a series of large woodblock prints, probably published in the late 1930s. Print size: 47 x 34 cm. signed Zuigetsu ga plus seal. Each print has a transparent overlay giving information about the plant or flower shown, both in Japanese and in English. The printing quality of these prints is exceptional. The illustrations shown are photographs, not the customary scans.

Fine impression, colours and condition: sprinkled gold all over the design.
