Description Heathcote koalas - Evie Paper size: 20.2 x 21.9 cm. Self-carved and self-printed in 2023 in an edition of 50. Tom used the isolation of the covid years seeking out endangered koalas in his local bushland. Having helped to identify over 150 individuals by photographing their distinctive nostrils he is now making woodblock prints from this pictorial fieldwork. In this print a territorial grey butcherbird alerts the koala spotter to the location of a koala hidden high in the tree top.
