Description Han no kai 1942 Album of new year�s cards (year of the horse), distributed among 50 woodblock print artists, mainly members of the Nihon Hanga Kyô kai, under the leadership of the Han no Kai�s founder, Takei Takeo (1894-1983). Introductory postcard by Hatsuyama Shigeru (top right), then 50 cards and one additional card. This album once belonged to one of the participating artists, the lesser known Umehara Yosô ji, and is complete with the colophon card and the two index cards. The album was designed by Takei Takeo. Detail 1 gives the cards not included in the large photograph.
