Description Han no kai 1942 Album of new year's cards (year of the horse), distributed among 50 woodblock print artists, mainly members of the Nihon Hanga Kyôkai, under the leadership of the Han no Kai's founder, Takei Takeo (1894-1983). Introductory postcard (top right), then 48 out of 50 cards. This album once belonged to Iwata Kakutarô (1902-1999), and is complete with the two Gariban Tsushin, original box, tables of contents, hand-written notes, envelopes, everything! Condition Fine overall condition, in fact much better than normally found: rare in this condition. Han no Kai albums are rarely complete: for whatever reason a few postcards are mostly missing.
