Description Girl and flowers Paper size: 27 x 38.7 cm. Self-printed ca. 1948-50. Paper tag verso reading "self-carved self-printed K. Saito" (early version, not the one used later). Signature in pencil bottom margin. A very early Saitô print, obviously printed in a few copies only, as I haven't found it in the literature I have consulted.

Condition Fine impression and colours, very good condition: a shallow diagonal fold top left corner, the beginning of a tear (a few mm.) in the top margin. Very deep printing marks (verso, clearly the result of repeated overprinting. The signature is not the usual "spiky" one, but a more hesitant rounded one, in keeping with the date it was printed.
