Description Asakusa Nakamise (浅草仲見世 ) - Asakusa Shopping Street Paper size: 26.6 x 19.9 cm. Number 3 from an edition of 50, published by Nakajima Jûtarô in June 1930, as part of the series One Hundred Views of New Tokyo - Shin Tokyo hyakkei. With the original folder (detail 1) showing the title slip of the series plus a red stamp giving the title of the print, plus artist�s name. On the print small artist�s seal bottom right. Shin Tokyo hyakkei is undoubtedly the best pre-war series of Sôsaku Hanga, with contributions by the ten leading artists of the period.

Condition Fine impression, colours and condition the folder shows some foxing and browning, but the print itself is unaffected. RARE
