Hiroko Iketaki was born in Tokyo, and she studied at the Women's Junior College of Fine Arts. In 1996, 1997 and 2002 she received prizes at various print shows in Japan, the last being the Yamamoto Kanae Print Grand Prix Competition in Nagano.
In 2005 she was a contributor at the 50th edition of the CWAJ (College Women's Association of Japan) Contemporary Prints Exhibition.
