Description Chô Senshu (蝶千種) - A Thousand Butterflies, first published by Yamada Naosaburô of Unsôdô Kyoto in 1903, this edition published in Meiji 41 (1908). Volume one of two, containing 25 woodcuts (each printed over two pages) of butterflies. Each page is 25 x 18 cm, so each print is 25 x 36 cm.

Condition Fine impression and colours, good/very good condition: all 25 prints are shown some age-signs, but the quality is generally very good. Use of gold and silver, the cover (with the original title-slip) somewhat frayed.
