Description Sawa no araiso (佐波の荒磯) - Windswept seashore at Sawa Paper size: 44 x 57 cm. Printed in 1947. Red Sasajima seal and annotations in his hand in the left margin.This print seems to be a trial print (or A.P.): it is uncut, the outline of the block is visible some 1 cm. from the image. Furthermore, the paper seems to be unsized, judging from the blurred outlines, especially in the lower half of the print. Very rare - not found in the literature I have consulted.

Condition Very good impression, good condition: the outlines of the sheet are a bit grubby, yet the image itself is clean there is an indistinct vertical paper fold over the full length of the sheet.
