Description Mountaineer and bird Print size: 32.8 x 44 cm. Published in 1955 number 7 from a limited edition of 20. Signed "U. Azechi" in pencil.

Condition Fine impression and colours: Azechi has applied his pigments thickly. Very good condition: this print has obviously been mounted hardly visible from the front (certainly no matline), some traces verso, which also has a paper slip, possibly in Azechi's handwriting (see detail). This print was bought from Azechi in 1956 by the previous owner, and was in his possession until recently. There is a very thin straight pencil line over the mountaineer's head, hardly visible (but it should be mentioned).
