Description Michi (道 ) - Road Paper size: 45 x 29.8 cm. Trial impression 3 from 3, self-carved and self-printed in 1961. First conceived in 1959 (according to this print, but in reality in 1957). Print details on a piece of washi, as usual (see detail 1). There are various versions of this design. Ono was apparently very fond of it, and kept working at it for years. In this case we see a kind of mirror-image of the later and completely recarved version (see also my Archive of sold items, Ono #117). Very rare !
