Description
Kanchû Kanpon (閑中閑本) - Leisure time, Leisure books Wood cassette holding all 27 booklets (booklet size: 9.1 x 16.7 cm.), including the posthumous (and autobiographical) vol. 27. The cassette also holds three different cloths (in the patterns of the booklet sleeves), dyed by Living National Treasure Inagaki Toshijirô. All booklets signed and numbered 136/150 (except vol. 27). Rare in this complete state. The photograph (detail 1) is of an earlier (incomplete) set. A must for a lover of Maekawa's work (like me)! On the photograph (from left to right): wrapped 27 booklets, wrapped cloths, open box.
Condition
Condition is 8/9 on a scale of 10, with a few 10/10 and a few 7/10 among them. Condition issues are small spots of foxing, mainly on the sleeves. But light foxing only affects the minority of the booklets.
