Description Kami 髪 Hair. Published in 1952 by Nihon moku hanga shuppan kykokai. Numbered 169 (see label in detail) In 1952, the Commission for Protection of Cultural Properties in the Ministry of Education designated woodblock printing as a mukei bunkazai (intangible cultural asset), in recognition of traditional printing techniques. Both Kawase Hasui and Ito Shinsui were selected to represent this art form and Shinsui designed this woodblock print.

Condition Beautiful impression and colour, fine condition, a small fold on the bottom right corner.
