Description Girl in profile Paper size: 35 x 45.2 cm. Number 4 from an edition of 50, self-printed ca. 1950. Signed and numbered in pencil. The label used is an early version of Saito's "Self-carved, self-printed" labels (see detail 1). These early Saito portraits are very rare and seldom seen.

Condition Fine impression and colours (thickly applied in places), good overall condition: some minor condition issues: the margin has been strengthened in two places, a light diagonal crease in the right bottom part of the print. The paper is unlike that used by Saito in his later works it is quite thin and creases easily.
