Description Dôbutsuen shoshû (動物園初秋) - Zoo early autumn, from the series One Hundred Views of New Tokyo (Shin Tokyo Hyakkei). Paper size: 26.8 x 20.4 cm. Self-carved and self-printed in September 1929. Red stamp: Kôshirô jizuri (self-printed) bottom left, print title in the margin top right. There are believed to have been only 50 impressions of each design in this series. This design was republished as "Ueno Zoo" in December 1945 as part of Scenes of Last Tokyo - Fifteen Scenes of Last Tokyo in Original Woodcut - Tokyo kaiko zue.
