Description Cat making up Paper size: 46.3 x 63 cm. Self-printed in 1955. Signed in pencil in the bottom margin. Printed on fairly thin paper. Illustrated in colour in Oliver Statler's Modern Japanese Prints (plate 90, between pp. 164 and 165). Without any doubt Inagaki's best cat print - to quote Oliver Statler: "There is only one cat in the picture - Inagaki used the two positions of the head to form a dynamic composition of a cat washing itself".
