Description Autumn composition Paper size: 27 x 36.7 cm. Self-printed around 1948. "GY"-seal bottom right. Verso: "Yamaguchi Gen" in Kanji. Number 1 from an edition of 3 (also in pencil verso).

Condition Very good impression and colours, good/very good condition: repaired corner top right. traces of mica, very slight foxing (hardly visible). The 1988 Shizuoka retrospective exhibition catalogue shows how preoccupied Gen Yamaguchi was in this period with making these "object prints", so prints employing leaves, slices of wood etc. Extremely rare.
