Nishizawa Tekiho (1889-1965)

Born in Tokyo, Nishizawa Tekiho was educated as a painter. He studied with Araki Kampo and with Araki Jippo. From 1915 he exhibited paintings with the Bunten and the Nitten. He is best known for his study of dolls in folk culture.
