Matsuura Maisetsu 松浦 舞雪 was born in Hiroshima in 1886. She first exhibited in 1909, and is known to have exhibited in Osaka in 1914. The rest of her career she worked in Osaka. She is mainly known for her depictions of girls, although she also painted landscapes. Her works are in the famous Fukutomi Taro collection.
