Born in Manchuria, Kurosaki Akira graduated at the Kyoto College of Crafts and Textiles in 1962. From 1969 he has been a member of the Nihon Hanga Kyôkai. His imaginative and often surrealist prints found acclaim in many exhibitions all over the world.
