Kinoshita Taika was born in Hiroshima and graduated from the Sokei Academy of Fine Arts. The artist makes woodblock and silkscreen prints. He is mainly known from his depictions of flowers. Since 1988 he has taken part in international print exhibitions, though he is mainly known in Japan.
