Description Tori no ichi (酉の市) - Year-end Fair Paper size: 26.9 x 19.9 cm. Number 3 from an edition of 50, published by Nakajima Jûtarô in December 1929, as part of the series One Hundred Views of New Tokyo - Shin Tokyo hyakkei. With the original folder (detail 1) showing the title slip of the series plus a red stamp giving the title of the print and the name of the artist. On the print (top right) print title plus edition number. Shin Tokyo hyakkei is undoubtedly the best pre-war series of Sôsaku Hanga, with contributions by the ten leading artists of the period.

Condition Fine impression, colours and condition: the folder shows considerable water damage and foxing, but the print itself is completely unaffected.
