Description
The complete set of 12 calendar prints, commissioned by the Pacific Transport Lines in 1952. According to Narazaki (see Kendall H. Brown, p.131 for a description of this series) no more than 500 sets were made. Size of each print is 38 x 25.5 cm. The price given is for the complete set the set will not be broken up.
Condition
Fine impression and colours, very good condition: all 12 prints are still attached (top margin) to the original calendar sheets (minus the bottom half giving the month). Only Ueno Park (top middle) shows slight foxing in the top margin - for the rest the sheets are in fine condition. The slight waviness visible in about half of the sheets is a trick played by my scanner: it is invisible when looking at the real thing(s). Further pics of individual sheets will be gladly provided.
