Suzuki Atsuko (鈴木敦子) was born in Aichi Prefecture in 1968. In 1991 she graduated from the Nagoya University of arts, and in the same year she had her first solo exhibition in Nagoya.
Since then she has had group and solo exhibitions nearly every year, and in Japan she is a highly regarded woodblock artist with a very personal and recognizable style, who has won many prizes.
