Description
Women of old Florence - and the 4 Seasons (古 き フ ィ レ ン ツ ェ の 女 た ち - そ し て 四 季 ) Published in 1979, in an edition of 80 plus 18 A.P.s, this being VII/XVIII. One colour mezzotint inside a carved massive wooden frame plus 8 b/w mezzotints. All signed and numbered in pencil. Four mezzotints are in one green folder marked 壹 (one), the other 4 in a second folder marked 貳 (two). Paper size of all prints: 30 x 34 cm. Photos of all individual prints are available.
Condition
Fine impression and colours, very good condition: cassette size: 32.7 x 37 cm: black linen and series title imprinted in gold the frame is 38 x 41 cm. The margins of the colour mezzotint are very lightly toned as a result of being in contact with the mat for more than 30 years. The velvet of the solander box holding cassette and frame is very lightly time-stained. Overall the set is in excellent condition.
