Description Yama (山) - Mountain Paper size: 21.3 x 11.8 cm. Number 1 from an edition of 20, self-printed in 1954. Print details in ink on a separate sheet of washi, as usual (see detail 1). This is a first (or perhaps a trial) impression. In the catalogue raisonné of his work the photograph of this print shows a black bird in the bottom right corner. Ono Tadashige may have changed his mind after this impression and then carved the bird into the block.
