Description Shin Nigao (新似顔) - New Portraits, Kinen gô (記念號) - Commemorative edition, magazine published in 1915, #5 of five magazines published. Apart from the woodblock print on the cover, showing Nakamura Tôzô in the role of Susanô no Mikoto by Natori Shunsen also woodblock prints by Matsuda Seifu, Ogawa Hyoe and Kondô Koichirô. Inside twenty woodblocks, ca 11 x 18 cm, of which one large vertical one (16.3 x 44.5 cm.) by Natori Shunsen, dated Taisho 4 (1915).

Condition Fine impression and colours, good condition: the woodblock prints are in fine shape, the cover is a bit soiled. In sturdy new chitsu. Rare in this complete state, as the magazine is mostly taken apart, and the prints sold separately.
