DescriptionWoman's head Paper size: 23.3 x 19.3 cm. Printed on thin paper, with an almost complete bleedthrough verso. "Chō" (朝) carved in the block bottom left. The attribution to Satō Chōzan is tentative only he is known to have taught a woodblock artist (Yokata Shichirō), and he may have tried his hand at woodblock prints himself as well. My attribution for a better one!
ConditionFine impression, very good condition: the paper looks somewhat mottled in the picture, but in reality the print is much cleaner.
