Description Tori no Ichi - (酉の市) - End of Year Fair Paper size: 26.2 x 19.4 cm. Number 2 from an edition of 50, published by Nakajima Jûtarô in October 1929, as part of the series One Hundred Views of New Tokyo - Shin Tokyo hyakkei. Mounted (Japanese fashion) on a piece of Japanese paper. Title and "Number 2 from an edition of 50" in the right margin. Signature bottom right. Shin Tokyo hyakkei is undoubtedly the best pre-war series of Sôsaku Hanga, with contributions by the ten leading artists of the period.

Condition Fine impression, colours and condition: I think it is the paper mounting that has kept this copy in pristine condition.
