Description Soga no Gorô Tokimune held back by Yoritomo's wrestler bodyguard Gosho no Gorômaru during the night attack at Kudo Saemon Suketsune, who had murdered his father in 1177. From the series Yoshitoshi musha burui - Yoshitoshi's courageous warriors, published by Kobayashi Tetsujirô in 1886.
Condition Good/very good impression, very good colours and condition: use of lacquer, blindprinting and gofun to indicate rain. There are numerous editions of this print the first edition has two small red seals on the left margin and the date filled in.
