Description
Nude in Bath Paper size: 48.8 x 31.5 cm. Self-printed ca. 1949. Number 7 from an edition of 50, but considering the rarity of this print the edition was probably not completed. Edition number and signature in pencil. A variant impression (different background, pubic hair removed) was in the Helen and Felix Juda collection, and auctioned in 1998. RARE !
Condition
Fine impression and colours, very good condition: extensive use of mica all over the print (see "detail"), some tape residue verso. Sekino Jun'ichir�'s early woodblock prints are in great demand, and the appreciation of his work is on the increase.
