Description
Nihon No Hana (日本の花) Flowers of Japan. Published by Hongakusha (Tokyo) in 1946. This book (123 pp) was edited by Onchi Kôshirô, and he was also responsible for most (11) of the contextual illustrations. Other illustrations were made by Kawakami Sumio (6), Kawanishi Hide (6) and Maekawa Sempan (6). Three of the illustrations (the top row) are tipped-in woodblock prints. Onchi designed the book and was also responsible for a number of the poems.
Condition
Fairly good condition: light browning, but that is mainly due to the poor-quality post-war paper.
