Description Shin hada (新膚) - New skin Paper size: 16 x 23.3 cm. From the magazine Han geijutsu (Print Art), Volume 5, published in. August 1932(版芸術, 第5号8月号). The blocks of this print were carved by Onchi, and the 400+ copies were printed by Hirakawa Seizō (1896 -1964). This was one of two handprinted prints (the other was by Fujimori Shizuo, the remaining 13 were machine-printed (artists: Hatsuyama Shigeru, Kawakami Sumio, Yamaguchi Susumu, Maeda Tōshirō, Maekawa Senpan, Munakata Shikō, Nakayama Isaku, a.o.) - a complete list is available, and images of the other prints will be gladly sent on demand.

Condition Fine impression and colours, generally good condition: the magazine is almost 100 years old and shows some toning, though the prints themselves are hardly affected. The magazine as a whole has a shallow vertical fold - so the prints inside as well.
