Description
The third and fourth prints of the Nakasendo series illustrating the stations along the "Road through the mountains" linking Tokyô to Kyôto. Here we have Kumagaya's Gonpachi Jizô (small shrine with a protection statue) and the old lantern marking the entrance of Kuragano and the signpost indicating the directions towards Edo on the right and Nikko on the left. Each print is in its own folder made with thin Japanese paper, and an explanation in Japanese. Todate, the series comprises 24 prints.
Condition
Fine impression and colours. Some prints have spots in the margins, Some folders have small worm holes.
