Description Nakamura Utaemon V in the role of Masaoka in “Meiboku Sendai Hagi” - Series Figures of Showa stage #7 政岡（五世中村歌右衛門丈） 昭和舞台姿　その七. Number 130 out of an edition of 200 (number in faint blind printing in the bottom left margin). Masaoka is the nanny of her Lord's son who is playing with her own son. When an assassin arrives, she points to her own son. The face she is making is when she watches in silence when her son is killed, thus saving the life of her lord's son.
Condition Fine impression, colours. Some soiling. Fold along the margins, this was done when the publisher sent out the prints to the subscribers in order to fit inside the envelops....
