Description Machi kado(街角 ) - Street corner Paper size: 23 x 30.8 cm. Self-printed in 1936. Signed in red ink, title and date in pencil verso. An exceptionally rare work, made in the beginning of his career. A very striking print, especially considering the period in which it was made.

Condition Fine impression and colours, good condition: while printing the artist added a new sheet of washi, as the fibres of the first had probably parted while printing. A few sharp cuts in the bottom margin.
